Governance of Excellence Criteria Based on EFQM Model Case Study of an Industrial Group

In progressing towards excellence, many barriers and problems appear which reveal the importance of self-assessment. The researcher examined managers and personnel attitude towards excellence criteria, so that the extent of excellence criteria governance would be measured. The main question of this research is “whether there is any significant difference between the status quo and desirable situation scores of excellence criteria, in company X?” This hypothesis has been separated into some peripheral hypotheses. The target statistical population of the research includes 157 people including managers, supervisors and staff of company X. The research sample consists of 112 individuals who have been selected randomly. All hypotheses except the second, the third, and the fourth have been confirmed at 95% level of confidence. Furthermore, data analysis and research findings have revealed those areas which need improvement.
