The Relation of Servant Leadership with Organizational Commitment in Esfahan State Welfare Organization

Abstract:
The purpose of conducting this research was to analysis the relationship between servant leadership and staff organizational commitment and its components. Statistical population of this study includes all of the official and contract employees in Esfahan Welfare organization in autumn. 1389. Sampling method is, simple random with using random numbers table based on a list of selected employees. For Collect data and test assumptions in this research has been used two questionnaires: for measurement of organizational commitment used Allen & Meyer (1993) a three components questionnaire of organizational commitment that three components of organizational commitment continuous, normative and emotional commitment.Reliability of this questionnaire based on Cronbach's Alpha obtain 0.763. For measuring servant leadership used to Gholi Pour questionnaire (1388) which has 28 questions and four components of service, humility, altruism and trusty. To determine the reliability of the questionnaire using Cronbach's alpha that obtain 0.948. Data obtained from the questionnaires was analyzed by using Pearson correlation and multi variable regression analysis. Results related to the simple correlation between the variables indicated that: there is a significant relationship between servant leadership and organizational commitment among employers in the Esfahan Welfare Organization(P < 0.01).Also, result show that there is a significant relationship between servant leadership with affective and normative commitment but in continuous commitment there is no significant relationship.
