In spite of various statements about Imāmīyya's distortion of the Qur'an belief, the orientalists of the early decades of twenty century all shared the same view of proving the Shi'a belief about distortion in the current Qur'an verses. The criticism and lack of credit of the Uthman’s muṣḥaf (written copy of the Qur’an), the different understanding of the verses, Imāmīyya's exclusive ṣuhuf such as Muṣḥaf Imam Ali (A.S.) and muṣḥaf Fatemeh (S.A.), arecited to prove the Imāmīyya's belief in Qur’an distortion. According to some orientalists, the belief in distorting the Qur’an in its various forms is one of the most accepted preconditions for the Imāmīyya; hence, in the orientalist writings, this claim has been repeated, and it seems to be a constant and indisputable one. Late orientalists are also attempting to consolidate the view of previous ones; however, sometimes there are precise and nongeneralized evaluations that are very rare. This article critically analyzes the statements of orientalists' "hypotheses", "methodology" and "documentation" in the assignment of Imāmīyya's belief in distorting the Qur'an, beside their statements.

The punishment of the apostate, briefly described in the Qur'an and in detail in Islamic jurisprudence and traditions, may create a doubt about compelling Muslims to preserve religion and belief. This is while Islam is the religion of invitation and guidance, and the Qur'an has denied constraint in religion. This paper tries to find a response to this problem and to resolve this apparent incompatibility in a descriptive-analytical method and also in a library method. The study of verses and narratives related to apostasy leads us to the conclusion that the apostolic worldly punishment is merely related to the actions, not the change of inner opinion and belief. The two terms of "denial" and "publicizing" for the realization of the apostasy issue of worldly punishment, as well as the Qur'an reveal about the conspiracy of enemies to undermine Muslim beliefs with apostasy are among the reasons and evidence of this claim. This reflects the fact that the apostasy verdict is intended to protect Muslim religious beliefs and their moral rights.

“Motivation" is one of the important topics in psychology which is used in educational sciences, psychology, management, and so on. Motivation is a factor that creates, strengthens or directs human behavior. The principles of motivation are rules that interpret motivations. From the Qur’an point of view, these principles are different from modern psychology because of the differences in foundations and consequently have different effects and consequences. In this article, the effect of ontological foundations and its consequences on the topic of "principles of motivation" from the viewpoint of the Qur'an and the West has been investigated using an analytical-comparative method, and while criticizing the Western point of view, the explanation of the motivational principles of the Qur’an is discussed. The study shows that, based on Western foundations, the three principles of "Epicureanism, Homeostasis and self-actualization" form the basis of the western motivational system. According to the Qur'anic principles, the four principles of "Desire for eternity, hedonism, gratitude, and perfection" provide motives. Also, the effects and consequences of the western motivational model are different from the Qur'anic one, which some differences was described here.

“Ulul al-bāb" is a special expression in the epistemic and moral system of the Holy Qur'an which describes outstanding servants and believers. The commentators in the explanation and exemplification of this term have different opinions, including the owners of reason, the owners of the full rationale and the owners of healthy intellect. However, by reflecting on the verses that highlight the attributes of "Ulul al-bāb ", we find that the commentators' views are not complete. According to the findings of the research and also according to the verses context, “Ulul al-bāb " is one who understands and receives the noble divine teachings at its highest level after divine prophets and saints, apart from any impurity and temptation. In addition to recognize the right and false, they choose the best way in the direction of divine obedience, while at the same time they are rational and praisers people and they are gifted by wisdom. Therefore, interpreting Ulul al-bāb to the wise men means to ignore all aspects of their personality; while Qur’an mentioned remarkable features for Ulul al-bāb, according to which such individuals have a full intellect in both theoretical approaches and scientific attitudes and have reached the peak of the maturity of the practical intellect in the course of action.
