Considering the increasing occurrences of unexpected events and the need for pre-crisis planning in order to reduce risks and losses, modeling instant response environments is needed more than ever. Modeling may lead to more careful planning for crisis-response operations, such as team formation, task assignment, and doing the task by teams. A common challenge in this way is that the model should be understandable for crisis managers, such that they could exploit from the consequences of modeling. To run the model and view the results, the model should be converted to a program. The crisis manager would run the program to see how the model operations, including team formation, task allocation, and task performance, are done. In this paper, the executable code of a multi agent system is automatically generated from a model which is designed based on model driven approach. A domain specific modeling language named ERE-ML and its related tool are used, and some new features are added to this language. To evaluate conversion code output, the case study of Bam earthquake is implemented, and the scenarios defined in the system are visualized.

Due to the increasing penetration of renewable energies in the power system, the frequency control problem has attracted more attention, while the traditional control methods are not capable of regulating the frequency and securing the stability of the system. In smart grids, demand response as the frequency control tool reduces the dependence on spinning reserve and high cost controllers. In addition to the economic benefits of the demand response control, its high-speed in damping of frequency changes is significant. In this paper, based on intelligent control of demand response and using fuzzy logic and particle swarm optimization algorithm, frequency control of an islanded microgrid is proposed. This approach is capable of continuously balancing the generation and demand in case of natural undetermined variation in the output power of wind generation and photovoltaic systems. In comparison with the related work, the proposed controller improves the settling time, overshoot, and undershoot of the response. Moreover, it resolves the restriction of the energy storage systems and effectively reduces environmental pollution due to diesel operation. The simulation results in an islanded microgrid show the good performance of the proposed intelligent controller for demand response control in comparison with traditional controllers.

This study presents a novel intelligent Fuzzy Genetic Differential Evolutionary model for the optimization of a fuzzy expert system applied to heart disease prediction in order to reduce the risk of heart disease. To this end, a fuzzy expert system has been proposed for the prediction of heart disease. The proposed model can be used as a tool to assist physicians. In order to: (1) tune the parameters of the membership function of the fuzzy expert system, (2) improve its performance and (3) increase its accuracy, the Genetic Algorithm combined with the Differential Evolution Algorithm has been applied to the fuzzy expert system. The proposed hybrid models, Fuzzy-GA, Fuzzy-DE, and Fuzzy-GA-DE were evaluated using ROC curve analysis and 10- fold cross-validation methods. In order to evaluate and validate the performance of the model, we applied it to a dataset including 380 samples collected from Parsian Hospital in Karaj. According to the results, the accuracy of the fuzzy expert system was 85.52% that has increased to 97.93% after to apply the hybrid Fuzzy-GA model and has increased to 97.67% after to apply the hybrid Fuzzy-DE model. Moreover, these hybrid models have improved the accuracy of the fuzzy expert system significantly. The ability to interpret the results in the fuzzy expert system and the high accuracy of the hybrid evolutionary models is very promising for the early prediction of heart disease and the provision of necessary care.

Nowadays, increasing the volume of data and the number of attributes in the dataset has reduced the accuracy of the learning algorithm and the computational complexity. A dimensionality reduction method is a feature selection method, which is done through filtering and wrapping. The wrapper methods are more accurate than filter ones but perform faster and have a less computational burden. With respect to the advantages and disadvantages of the filter and wrapper algorithms, a new hybrid approach is proposed in this study. In the method, all features in the dataset are considered, then the optimal subset of features is selected by combining the feature selection filter algorithms and evaluating their results using the wrapper method. Considering the many diseases and biosystem issues, such as cancer, can be identified and diagnosed by microarray data analysis and considering that there are many features in such datasets, the method proposed in this paper has been evaluated on microarray data related to three types of cancers.  Compared with similar methods, the results show the proposed method benefits from high accuracy in classifying and identifying the affecting factors on cancer.

are a subset of MANETs in which vehicles are considered as network clients. These networks have been created to communicate between vehicles and traffic control on the roads. have similar features to MANETs and their main special property is the high-speed node mobility which makes a quick change of the network. The rapid change of network topology is a major challenge in routing. One of the well-known routing protocols in VANETs is the AODV routing protocol. In this inquiry, nature-inspired algorithms such as GOA and GA are used to improve routing in VANETs to search the optimal configuration of the AODV routing protocol, and its impact on network evaluation criteria has been investigated. The rating measures applied in this research are the packet delivery ratio, end-to-end delays, and normalized routing load.
