In this paper, we numerically investigate the thermoelectric properties of a triangle quantum dot connected to metallic electrodes using Green's function method in the Anderson model. Using the equation of motion method in the presence of Coulomb interaction in the Coulomb-blockade regime, the thermovoltage, thermocurrent and heat dissipation are calculated. Results show that the thermovoltage and thermocurrent have nonlinear behavior and their magnitude and sign of them can be controlled with the site energy and coupling strength of quantum dots. Also, the heat current is nonlinear and has an asymmetrical function with respect to the sign of bias voltage for all of the site energies of quantum dots. Results show that the heat current can be positive or negative for all of the site energies and it shows that heat current has a nontrivial zero for the nonzero voltages. These results can be useful to determine the performance of the nanoscale electronic devices to control heat dissipations.

The dispersion potential for a single ground-state of an electric and/or magnetic atom has been generalized in the presence of magnetoelectric media, making use of perturbation theory to the ones with nonlocal responses. As the final relation depends on the geometry of the system, the Casimir-Polder force in such systems can be obtained by calculating the gradient of the potential. It will be seen that the potential formula is totally similar to the previously obtained relation for local media. The dependence of the final relation on the Green tensor, geometrically similar systems with different natures of responses to the electromagnetic field may present different results for dispersion potential.

Bilayer germanene nanoribbons (bGNR), due to interlayer bonds and strong spin-orbit coupling, have more application in the design of nano-devices and spintronics. Quantum transport properties and topological phases transition of zigzag superlattice bGNR exposed to the vertical electric field and Rashba spin-orbit coupling (RSOC) are studied within the tight-binding based non-equilibrium Green's function approach. Results demonstrate that by applying the vertical external electric field, a gap opening and metal-semimetal phase transition occur in the system. Meanwhile, we found the topological phase transition of a quasi-topological insulator-band insulator by applying a vertical electric field in bGNR. Further, results reveal that by tuning the RSOC strength, we can control the spin current. This controllability of spin and quantum transport in GNR may contribute to potential applications in nano-devices and the development of spintronic.

For a theoretical description of the nuclear system, it is necessary to extract the properties observed on the ground and the excited states of the nucleus. Another important application of computing, data B (E2) is for nuclear reaction calculations, which are essential as library parameters and nuclear reaction calculation codes such as EMPIRE and TALYS. Also, by applying the results of the reduced transition probability calculation, the cross-sections of the reaction can be easily determined and quantities such as the astrophysical S factor and the reaction rate can be obtained. The probability of a reduced electric quadrupole transition B (E2) between the ground state and the excited states in the 5He (p, γ) 6Li radiation capture reaction with the Woods-Saxon and M3Y potentials are calculated. The value of B(E2) in the 6Li nucleus between the excited states 3+ and 2+ (with excitation energies of 2.18 MeV and 4.31 MeV) and the ground state with Woods-Saxon potential obtained equal to 10.2 e2fm4 and 4.678 e2fm4, respectively. Also by using the M3Y potential obtained equal to 10.25 e2fm4 and 3.78 e2fm4, respectively. There is a good agreement between the experimental data and the computational results.

In a series of papers, Frydryszak and Tkachuk (Czechoslovak Journal of Physics, 53 (2003) 1035-1040; Found. Phys, 46 (2016) 1666-1679) introduced a one-parameter extension of the Heisenberg algebra with a deformation parameter in a six-dimensional phase space. In this paper, after Lagrangian reformulation of Maxwell electrostatics from the viewpoint of the above one-parameter extension of the Heisenberg algebra in a six-dimensional phase space the electrostatic potential and the electric field of a point charge are calculated analytically in this generalized electrostatics (generalized Maxwell electrostatics). We show that in contrast with the conventional Maxwell electrostatics the electrostatic potential and the electric field of a point charge are not singular at the position of the point charge in this generalized electrostatics. We show that in the low-energy limit (large spatial distances), the results of this generalized electrostatics are compatible with the results of the conventional Maxwell electrostatics.

Quantum correlations have been comprehensively accepted as the main resource for different quantum information processing tasks.  If we regard density coding as a process for transmitting information from source to receiver, it is important to understand how the properties of the quantum channel itself can be determined, and under what conditions the channel is suitable for density coding.  This study considers super dense coding of a bipartite state via a quantum correlated channel. We find that the dynamic properties of SQD on our channel enable us to determine when and under what conditions the system is suitable for dense coding capacity. The results show that our proposals could lead to this scheme being efficient for quantum information processing.
