Abstract:
Impact ofprecipitationchangesonground waterlevelwas investigated byanalyzingthe relationship betweenmonthlyrainfallrecorded in thepast and waterlevelsinobservationwells inthe plainof Shiraz. Approximately86% ofthe wellshaveapositive correlationwithrainfall and changesin rainfallcauses groundwater levelischangingtowardeach other. With theestablishment ofcrosscorrelationbetween thechanges inmonthlyrainfall in Shiraz station whit theaveragegroundwaterlevelintheplain ofShiraz duringthe years1372-1386، it wasobserved that affect monthlyrainfallinShirazstationabout 1month later on averagemonthlygroundwaterlevel and to achievethemaximumandminimumgroundwaterlevel is whit 1-monthdelayafterreachingthemaximumandminimummonthlyrainfall
