Investigating factors Affecting participation of water User،s cooperative members in Management of Agricultural water Resources in Qazvin province

In last two decades،the category of water users cooperative for farmers participatory in agricultural water management has been highly considered due to dehydration all over the world. The major purpose of this study was to examine the factors that influence on farmer،s participation in water user،s cooperative in water resources management in 2011. The statistical population was all farmers that are members of water user cooperative in Qazvin province (N=1000). According to Cocran formula 144 persons was chosen an sample by using simple random sampling method. Instrument validity was established by a panel of experts and its reliability was confirmed by filling out 30 questionnaires. Cronbach alpha coefficient was calculated for different parts between 0. 70 to 0. 95. Data analysis was done by SPSS 17 software. Relationship between independent variables and dependent variable was distinguished using correlation Spearman test and a regression model was estimated for explaining effect of farmers observatory on participation in water user،s cooperative. The result of correlation Spearman test are shown that there is a significant and positive relationship between the distance of farm from agricultural services center،level of irrigated land،level of laterally and farming annual income: level of using informational resources and level of extension contacts with participation of water users cooperative members in management of water resources. Also، the results of stepwise regression are shown that farm distance from the nearest agricultural services center،extension contacts and water price exolained about 49% of variation of farmer،s participation in management of water resources.
