Future Wars from the Western Military Expert's Perspectives

Main areas of elaborating the perspectives of western military expertson the future wars and their characteristics revolve around the issuessuch as knowing enemy, futurology and predicting the defenserequirements which have to be done in the course of contact withcolony-seeking enemies.As a qualitative research based on content and corpus analysis, thestudy tried to characterize the future wars from the western military xpert's perspectives extracted from the USA military manual and heir statements. The analysis revealed that the future wars will be ainly virtual, mobile, software-based and intellectual. More pecifically, such wars are characterized as quick and decisive perations, allied and combined, effective, power synchronization, on-linear, employment of special forces, comprehensive analysis of ntelligence, simultaneous clash at three areas, preventive operations, ustainment under any circumstances, extended battlefield, focus on sychic operations, attack on the focal points, level offense, precise air nd missile attack, time management, reduction of war costs, anaging nations tolerance threshold and changes in the type of aneuver. Majority of the western military experts try to present hemselves as the dominant power through presenting their military ight, capacities, technology, and scientific, industrial and military uthority. But it is a misconception since it is the power of motivation, pirit of seeking martyrdom and wills of the nations in support of their governments, which decide the equation of hostility and war.
