The Effect of Spiritual Leadership on Employee's Intrinsic Motivation

Abstract:
To overcome uncertainty, complexity and dynamic conditions, one of the ways, is having a capable human resource. Motivated personnel that work in the line with organizational goals, will have enormous interests to the entire organization. Intrinsic motivation is a new concept that currently has attracted the opinions of many management scholars. This multidimensional concept, has been defined in terms of the perceptions and beliefs of employees towards their role in the job and the organization and it allocates various psychological states such as self-efficacy feelings, be effective feelings, the power of choice feelings and be meaningful feeling of the job to itself. In this study, the effect of spiritual leadership on intrinsic motivation has been investigated using structural equation modeling approach in the University of Isfahan. Data collected were analyzed using Amos software (version 18). Results show the confirmation of the hypothesises.
