Explanation of the Basic Assumptions of the Islamic Revolution's Culture as a Source of Soft Power

Basic assumptions which are identical with beliefs and ideas constitute the most fundamental and constant part of man’s existence and are considered the most important aspect of culture. The Islamic Revolution has been founded and endured on the basis of this aspect of the culture of the Islamic Revolution. This dimension of the Islamic Revolution has a prominent standing. Now, the questions are, 'What are the basic assumptions in the Islamic Revolution's culture as a source of soft power for the Islamic Republic? 'and ‘What components do they have? Since the Islamic Revolution has originated from a pure and clear source and, as a source of common wisdom, seeks dignity and magnanimity for all human beings, it will have cultural desirability and can function as a source of soft power. The importance of this issue made us extract the components of the basic assumptions of the Islamic Revolution’s culture from the main documents. These components include theism, Messianism, velayatmehvari (accepting the authority of the qualified Islamic jurisprudent), belief in the role and importance of people and self-reliance. All the five components were confirmed by the elites of the research population as the most important source of the Islamic Republic System’s soft power.
