Clarification of the relation between productivity indicators and police organization performance from social responsibility point of view

Today companies and organizations have considered social responsibility and related standards very important for gaining competitive advantages. ISO 26000 in social responsibility is on the top. Regarding police close contact with society and the responsibility of this huge organization towards people, the role and the significance of police in stablishing security and order in society are undeniable. Therefore in this article the relevance of productivity indicators on organization performance from social responsibility point of view is studied. For this matter, first each of social responsibility and productivity concepts individually for police was studied then dimensions and criteria of each concept extracted and finally an inductive framework for explanation of these two effective factors on each other was introduced. Therefore for productivity 22 indicators and for social responsibility 15 indicators from articles, books and police organization reports were extracted. This article is both descriptive and exploratory. In descriptive study the effective concepts and indicators on productivity and social responsibility were extracted individually. Exploratory study deals with the relation between concepts and indicators in two domains of productivity and social responsibility which are taken from literatures review and individually these concepts for police organization are studied.
