The Effect of Premarriage Skills Training on Communication Skills and Problem Solving in martyr and Veteran girls in Guilan province

The aim of the present study was the effect of premarriage training on communication skills and problem-solving in martyr and Veteran girls in Guilan province. The research was semi-experimental, pretest-posttest with control group design. The statistical society was the entire martyr and Veteran girls 18- 25 years old from whole cities of guilan province that Rasht and Lahigan City were selected Cluster style.50 people in Rasht and 30 people in Lahigan were selected randomly and were replaced in two group control and experimental, 25 people (Rasht) and 15 people (Lahigan).Communication Skills Questionnaire (Atarha, 1386) and Problem Solving Scale (Cassidy& Long, 1996) in the pre-test and post-test was formed by the two groups. Premarital education program for the experimental group were presented in 10 sessions of 90 minutes. Data was analyzed with Univariate and multivariate analysis and software SPSS 19. The results of ANCOVA indicated that premarriage skills training Causes to increase management of emotions, assertiveness and perception others from communication skills and total grade of problem solving (p<0/0001). The results of MANCOVA indicated that Subjects Scores after training Increased in the three subscales creativity, turned and trust from problem solving and decrease in the three subscales Insolvency, Avoidance and Controlling (p<0/0001). Communication skills and problem solving it's necessary to improve the quality of married life. The plan to teach these skills in premarriage for young people, especially martyr and Veteran girls in order to an element of primary prevention can have an important effect.
