The Effect of Social Capital and Social Responsibility on Organizational Commitment; Case Study: Staff of Razi University, Kermanshah

Abstract:
The purpose of this study is to investigate the effect of social capital and social responsibility on organizational commitment. The type of study was descriptive and the method was Survey. Data collection was by questionnaire which stratified random sampling was 203 of employees in Razi University in Kermanshah. SPSS- LISREL software was used for data analysis. The structural equation modeling analysis supported model fitting to the data. Results of structural equation modeling showed that: The direct effect of social responsibility on organizational commitment (0/21) is positive and significant. Also, direct effect of social capital on Organizational commitment (0/59) is positive and significant. As a result the factors that each organization should consider in order to organization's commitment is social responsibility and social capital. In the meantime establishing networks and communications in that field lead to the increased responsibility of staff that can be effective in increasing organizational commitment.
