Spiritual modeling self-efficacy, perception of parentʼs religiousness and personality traits as predictors of students ́s religiousness

This study's purpose was to examine the role of the Spiritual modeling self-efficacy, perception of parentʼs religiousness and personality traits (honesty-humility, Conscientiousness and Agreeableness) in prediction of students´s religiousness. Via randomized multistage sampling, 200 students from Shahid Chamran university were chosen as the sample. Data gathering was done by religiousness questionnaire, spiritual modeling self-efficacy scale and HEXACO personality scale. The results demonstrated that forty- three percent of religiousness variances can be shown by Spiritual modeling self-efficacy, perception of parentʼs religiousness and personality traits (honesty-humility and Conscientiousness). perception of parentʼs religiousness was the strongest predictor in prediction of one´s religiousness.
