A Review over the New Concept of College Student's Curriculum: Introducing and Expanding the Relevant Concepts

Abstract:
The Main purpose of this study is to introduce college student’s curriculum as a new kind of curriculum. This study is fundamental type and it has been conducted through Inductive argument. This study seeks to describe student’s curriculum through observations, reflections, and library and documentary researches. Therefore, this study investigates the following research questions: 1-What are the main components of this curriculum on which a graduate thesis has been conducted at Tehran University? 2- Which concepts can be considered in this curriculum? Which in this part, some concepts such as meta-cognition, motivation, academic engagement and student-centeredness has been discussed.3- What is the basic theory in this curriculum? The relevant theories discussed are: constructivist, Existentialism, Weiner theory in attribution, and the theory of the goals of progress. And 4- what are the appropriate or recommended methodologies in this curriculum? In this section, the phenomenological method has been discussed.
