Investigation of the Impact of Reverse Logistics Capabilities on Firm Expenses (Case Study: Bel Rouzaneh Co.)

Reverse Logistics is a process in which producers and forwarders receive their dispatched products for re-forwarding to another customer, recycling, remanufacturing, repairing or disposal purposes.
The reverse logistics’ principles increase customer loyalty and satisfaction, accelerate rate of return, improve the end user’s brand image, cause better communication with shareholders, enhance personal incentives and finally lead to achievement of company’s vision and strategy.
Due to the importance of reverse logistics, this study aims to examine the impact of reverse logistics capabilities on firm costs considering moderator variables ” logistics information management, institute economic factors and efficient transportation system” in dairy product’s distribution industry.
Current research is a survey from data collection point of view by and is descriptive from research point of view. We conducted a survey of Bel Rouzaneh company out of which we received 100 usable questionnaires with a response rate of 84% .The study applied Structural Equation Models (SEM) and confirmatory factor analysis (CFA) for data analysis and hypothesis tests and the results support the hypothesis that reverse logistics capabilities influence firm costs and also moderator variables (logistics information management, institute economic factors and efficient transportation system) significantly influence the effectiveness of this interaction. Since the average response in all cases was higher than the normal, from the perspective of the participants in this study, the evaluation has been satisfactory.
