Iran-Oman size of relations

Oman is a country that, by understanding the current conditions of the world and the region, has always tried to promote its dignity in the region and in the world by relying on its soft power resources and by increasing the number of mediation cases in various regional affairs in the international system. Oman has been a good and supporter neighbor for the Islamic Republic of Iran. Although it is said that the Omani interest in Iran is related to Iran's support before Islam in repression of Dhofar's guerrillas. But historical evidence shows that the Omani interest in Iran and Iranian people is beyond historical events, and the advent of Dhofar is one of the reasons and factors behind the Omani interest in Iran. The relations of Iran and Oman has strong points that first must be recognized and then tried to be emphasized. To archive this we must define, pass and execute strategies in order to expand and deepen them. This should be done throw a long term strategic vision. While studying Iran and Oman case, this article by descriptive-analytical method, tries to provide a prospect on the Iran-Oman relations.
