The effect of project-based multimedia approach on Learning and motivation of students in computer science, city of Birjand

Abstract:
This study has presented the effect of multimedia, using project-based learning (PBL) Structuralism approach, on motivation of the students of second grade of computer science (technical and vocational school) in Birjand (Iran).
The methodology of the current research is Quasi-experimental. The statistical population in this research is the male students in the second grade of technical and vocational schools of Birjand. The statistical population has been divided into both experiment and control groups (classes), which 25 participants have been selected as sample group provided by sampling techniques test and control group have been trained with multimedia and traditional methods, respectively.
Motivation has been measured using Hermens questionnaire as a pretest before starting the research and as a posttest in its end. The Hermens reliability coefficient has been reported %84 using Cronbachs alpha.
Data has been analyzed through inferential statistics (Analysis of variance with repeated measures and Covariance). The Obtained results show Effectiveness of multimedia using Project-based learning (PLB) structuralism approach with respect to traditional methods.
