Effectiveness of Cognitive-Behavioral Interventions, the Training of Sensory Processing Styles and Positive Parating on Behavioral Problems in Children Aged 7-12 Years

Abstract:
The aim of this study was to compare the effectiveness of cognitive-behavioral interventions, the training of sensory processing styles and positive parating on children's behavioral problems. The method used in this quasi-experimental study. The statistical population of this research includes all elementary students of Sari city. 90 students were selected from sampled students with behavioral problems and were randomly assigned to control and experimental groups for intervention. A child behavioral questionnaire was used to data collection, SPSS-21 software was used for Multivariable Analyze ofVarianceFindings showed that the average behavioral problems of people with cognitive-behavioral behavior were less than the mean of behavioral problems in subjects undergoing sensory and parental processing styles. This result demonstrates the greater effectiveness of cognitive-behavioral intervention on any of the interventions studied in this study.
