Comparison of Impulsivity and Craving in Addicts under Abstinence-based Treatment, with Methadone Maintenance Treatment and Recovered Dic Centers

This study aimed the compare of impulsivity and craving in addicts under abstinence-based treatment, with methadone maintenance treatment and recovered dic centers. This study was conducted with a comparative method. The sample consisted of 90 men in each of the three groups of 30 patients were selected with available sampling method. Data were collected using Barratt Impulsivity Scale and beck questionnaire of Provocative ideas. Data were analyzed ANOVA was used to analyze of data. Results showed that the three groups recovered DIC centers and abstinence-based treatment and methadone maintenance treatment there was a significant difference in terms of impulsivity and craving. Results in the selection of appropriate treatment and relapse prevention programs can be important.
