A Study on the Relationship Betweensocial Capitaland Political System Legitimacy (Case Study: University of Isfahan's Students)

Based upon experimental assessment, the Present paper aims at studying the correlation between social capital and Political legitimacy. This research conducted based on survey method and gathered the data with questionnaire. Sample contained 200 students and selected through systematic random sampling. Face and construct validity have been used to verify the validity and alpha Cronbach’s to assess the reliability of the measurement. To test the hypotheses, Pearson correlation coefficient and analysis of variance were employed. Based on the findings of the research, there emerged dominant a Positive meaningful relationship between the social capital and Political legitimacy. However, such a meaningful impact only surfaced evident with regard to rational and Charismatic legitimacy. This meaningful impact did not gain currency regarding traditional legitimacy.
