Wahabism and Distortion of Religious Texts

One of the manifestations of deceit and trickery of the malevolent ones is the distortion and alteration of valuable religious documents. The distortion conspiracy has a long background in history and the Holy Quran has also dealt with it in different verses reprimanding vehemently the distorters and those who tamper with such texts. The Salafists especially the Wahhabis, however, have long been altering religious texts within the Islamic society. A question that comes up is whether or not it is possible to present instances of such malevolent actions by Wahhabis in religious works.  This article using an analytical – descriptive method seeks to provide solid proofs and well-demonstrated answers to the foregoing question, thus attempting to substantiate the affirmativeness of the answer with reliance on reliable sources.
