The country that once was one of the poorest lands on the face of the earth and economic backwardness was one of its domestic hallmarks has become the second economic power of the world. The land where its foreign policy till 1972 was based on challenging America worldwide has put pursuing a constructive international interaction with The U.S.A on top of its grand strategy. The question that has to be considered is focused on the definition China’s leaders ascribe to the relationship between principles of foreign policy and economic development. The decision making hierarchy of the country believes the expansion of the people’s welfare and gaining international authority are only possible simultaneously in the context of export based trade and constructive international interactions globally especially with the great powers of the world.
