Capital Accumulation Model for the Career Path of Police Commanders and Senior Managers
Commanders and senior managers of the police force have improved the position of senior management by using the capital of their career path, and by using this capital, they will help to improve the organizational performance. Therefore, the aim of this study is to identify and prioritize the components affecting the accumulation of capital in the career path of commanders and senior managers of law enforcement and its development.
The present research is an exploratory and interpretive study with a developmental and applied purpose. The research experts are 11 commanders and senior police officers, all of whom have worked in the police force and have the necessary experience and knowledge. The research community is staffed by the Fars Province Disciplinary Command. For research method; interpretive structural modeling was used with a qualitative / quantitative approach. In the qualitative stage, the interviews with the experts took place until the theoretical saturation stage, then the final dimensions and components were extracted using a questionnaire and re-survey; in a small step, the finalized components of the questionnaire were given to the experts to prioritize, and then modeling was performed using the interpretive structural technique.
81 components affecting the capital of the career path were identified in the form of 7 dimensions of support, communication, individual effort, structural system, individual abilities, cognitive skills and competencies.
After analyzing and analyzing the data, the dimensions of "communication" and "individual abilities" and "competence" at level 1, the dimensions of "individual effort" and "structural system" and "cognitive skills" at level 2 and then "support" at level 3. The model was designed accordingly.
