Abstract:

Free will and its realm have been always one of the main theological issues considered by Muslim theologians verbal. It is by the free will that human has introduced as the noblest Creatures, sometimes has revered and sometimes blamed in Quran. Everything is subservient to man for his free will. The research question is: what is the meaning of free will and its realm according to theological and interpretational views of Imam Khomeini and Allamah Tabatabaei and what are its roles and functions in human actions? The purpose of this article is to study the philosophical and theological approach according to the both contemporary thinkers by library - analytical method. These two thinkers have emphasized the existence of free will in human. They believed that there is free will in human and this reality is an obvious affaire. By the way they argued for their opinion by some arguments, too. Islam wills that human steps in the way of human perfection by the free will and in the way of faith and monotheism and travel to the path of happiness. In this article it has emphasized to some special theories of both thinkers on free will.
