Evaluation of vital impulses affecting earthquake resilience in Iranian metropolises (Case study: Tabriz metropolis)

The city of Tabriz is one of the largest and most important cities in Iran, which is located in a very high risk area, adjacent to the Tabriz fault and having a population of 1558693 people and the existence of huge human, cultural and historical capital of Tabriz as the most dangerous city In terms of earthquake risk, it introduces and according to this, Tabriz fault is considered the most dangerous fault in the country. The existence of such conditions predicts the occurrence of a human catastrophe in Tabriz in the coming years. If the earthquake zoning plan of Tabriz city, carried out by Tehran Padir Company, has predicted 426 thousand human casualties for the Tabriz earthquake in a maximum of 426 thousand people. In this regard, the most important purpose of this article is to evaluate the vital impulses affecting the resilience of Tabriz city against possible earthquakes. The research method is based on common methods and models in futures research. The results of this study show that among forty factors affecting Resilience of Tabriz city against earthquakes Twelve factors which are fault activity, marginalization, population density, building resistance, damage rate, poverty, hazard zoning map, income, open space access, crisis budget, temporary housing and security are among Key and important factors for resilience of Tabriz city against earthquakes have been determined.
