Pathology of Curriculum Internationalization in Universities and Higher Education Institutions Located in Free Zones
The present study is to examine the current situation and pathology of internationalization of university curricula and higher education institutions located in 7 free zones of the country in order to achieve potential solutions to overcome these problems.This research is applied and a descriptive survey in terms of purpose. The statistical population includes 37 universities located in the free zones of the country that were selected as a sample size by the census method of the entire statistical population and a researcher-made and semi-structured library method and questionnaire were used to collect data.After the data collection, its analysis was processed in two levels of descriptive statistics including frequency distribution tables and graphs and inferential statistics including analysis of variance, Friedman test, single-sample t-test and paired or paired t-test.As the findings indicated, twenty components including international curricula as main educational indicators of university support for Internationalization have been introduced and ranked according toimportance. The results of Friedman's prioritization showed that economic/financial, and political/diplomatic issues have the greatest impact on the failure of internationalization.The results showed that the situation of internationalization in universities in the free zones of the country is not favorable.
