Crime prevention using environmental security design methods to improve the security of citizens (Case study of Qazvin city)

The rapid growth of urban population has caused many problems in cities, including the occurrence of various social anomalies, so that today the increase in crime threatens the security and well-being of citizens. Usually criminal acts in Parts of the city happen more. Because criminals are very careful in choosing a place and choose places for their criminal acts where it is possible to commit a crime with less risk and more speed. The same urban planners should pay special attention to the issue.

The research method was analytical and descriptive that the data were collected through NAJA organizational resources and then the results were presented to law enforcement experts by preparing a questionnaire and presented in the form of research findings. With the analysis done in this research, it can be pointed out that the effect of spatial conditions in each of the urban areas that receive a certain population of the city causes the creation of a specific type of urban space.
