The Impact of Knowledge Management and Intellectual Capitals on Achieving Competitive Advantage and Prioritizing it with AHP Method (Case Study: Iran Insurance Company)
The purpose of this study is to investigate the effect of knowledge management and intellectual capital in gaining competitive advantage and prioritizing it by AHP method in Iran Insurance Company. The research method is descriptive survey. The statistical population of this research was selected from 3000 people from Iran Insurance Company. Morgan table is used to determine the statistical sample size, which according to the size of the statistical population, the number of statistical samples was estimated to be 341 people. The hypotheses were tested by structural equation modeling software of lisrel, Spss and Expert Choice software. All hypotheses were confirmed. The results obtained from the statistical data at the significance level of 0.05, indicates the effect of knowledge management and intellectual capital on gaining a competitive advantage. Moreover, the result of prioritization indicates that the distribution of knowledge with a weight of 0.246 has the most effect among the dimensions of knowledge management and knowledge retention with a weight of 0.119 has the least effect. Also, relational capital with a weight of 0.210 has the most effect among the dimensions of intellectual capital and organizational capital with a weight of 0.130 has the least effect.
