Investigating the capabilities of domestic companies with products based on artificial intelligence with usability in the field of librarianship activities

Considering the growing capabilities of technologies based on artificial intelligence, the main purpose of this study was to investigate the usability of Iranian products/software based on artificial intelligence in libraries and It is library software.

This research is applied in terms of purpose and analytical and descriptive-survey in terms of quantitative method. The research community, after applying the entry and exit conditions, finally consisted of 21 companies active in the field of artificial intelligence software products. The data collection tool was a researcher-made checklist that included two sections, company demographic information and research questions, and its reliability was confirmed with Cronbach's alpha of 0.84.

The research findings showed that most of the fields of activity of the mentioned companies were text, image and audio processing and the products of these companies can be used in library software.

Utilization of artificial intelligence in the field of library software in Iran is a nascent and growing science and companies related to this field to design and produce native software compatible with the official language of the country are on the path of progress. And development.
