Victimization of children in cyberspace from etiology to providing preventive solutions

based on the teachings of criminology, the first principle to prevent and establish measures to prevent the occurrence of crimes is to know the causes and factors of committing crimes from different dimensions, so according to this principle, in order to be able to provide precise and operational solutions in the field of preventing the occurrence of victims and considering committing crimes against children in cyberspace, it is necessary to first examine the causes and factors of crimes against children and their victimization in cyberspace.

The present research was carried out using a descriptive and analytical method.

The findings of the research confirm that the victimization of children in the cyberspace occurs due to the emergence of legal reasons, political reasons, economic reasons, cultural reasons and personal reasons related to children, which must be focused on in order to prevent crimes against children. These reasons should be focused and by removing the defects of the laws, increasing the sensitivity in the centers that make macro policies, increasing the awareness and computer science of parents and their supervision, an important part of the statistics of crimes against children in cyber space can be reduced.
