The Impact of Using Quality Management System on Green Innovation with Moderating Role of Environmental Regulation (Case Study of Iranian Electronic Industries)
With increasing environmental concerns from consumers, governments, and communities around the world, manufacturing companies are seeking to develop eco-friendly programs such as green product development, green brand and technology. Current research focuses mainly on the impact of quality management on overall innovation and the inconsistent findings, and the impact of quality management on green innovation or sustainability opportunities has rarely been investigated. The purpose of the present study was to investigate the impact of applying a quality management system with a moderating role on green innovation. The present study is applied in terms of purpose and in terms of descriptive-survey data based on structural equation modeling. The statistical population of this study includes the staff and managers of Iran Electronic Industries Company. Data collection tool was a questionnaire. To assess the validity of the questionnaire, divergent validity, convergent validity, and PLS software were used. Cronbach's alpha test was also used to determine the reliability of the questionnaire, which was higher than 0.70 for each of the variables, indicating that the reliability of the questionnaire was confirmed. It shows that the use of quality management system has a significant effect on the role of environmental regulation on green technological innovation, green product innovation, green process innovation, green management innovation.
