Prevention or reduction of smoking and hookah use in adolescent male high school students in Dehloran city and Mosian region in Ilam province based on Islamic teachings, educational method of teaching lessons and presenting the idea of "lesson room" in school

Increasing tendencies and consumption of common and popular types of tobacco, namely cigarettes and hookahs, such as drug addiction as a widespread, important and sensitive issue with physical, mental, psychological, social, cultural, moral, economic harms and dangers. Security, law enforcement and the judiciary are vulnerable to all walks of life, including adolescent male students.

The present study, in terms of purpose, is part of applied research using descriptive-analytical method. The sample was 4 secondary schools for boys in Dehloran city and Mosian region in Ilam province that were selected by cluster random sampling method. In this study, to study and present a new and practical idea called "Lesson Room" in the form of a room of different cultural and artistic works of students about the dangers and harms of smoking and hookah and using the educational method of Islam, ie the method of learning and effectiveness It deals with the prevention and consumption of cigarettes and hookah.

It was found that creating a lesson room in each school and its presence, activity and visit by adolescent male students and using the Islamic educational method to learn about the dangers and various harms of smoking and hookah, could play an important role in increasing cognition. Attitudes, calculations, thinking, impressionability, insight, gaining experience and preventing slips of adolescent male students about various current and future dangers and injuries have a tendency to smoke and hookah, and they reached an important epistemological and esoteric understanding in this field.

With the idea of ​​a lesson room, using the principles and foundations of the Islamic education method, ie the instructional method, it is possible to prevent and reduce high-risk and abnormal behaviors of student adolescents such as smoking and smoking in the form of their favorite artistic and cultural works.
