Azerbaijan's position in Europe's energy security
Achieving stable sources of oil and gas has long been one of the main concerns of European countries. Europe imports most of its energy from Russia, but due to numerous disputes with Russia, including the Ukraine issue, it is trying to reduce its dependence on Russia. In this context, attention to the transfer of energy resources from Azerbaijan has been paid much attention. Now, this research is looking for an answer to the question, what is the position of Azerbaijan in Europe's energy security, using descriptive-analytical method? The findings show that despite the fact that Azerbaijan has significant energy resources, but due to the fact that it does not have the capacity to transfer energy to the extent that it can replace Russia, the country's position in Europe's energy security cannot be considered very significant.
