Develop a Model of Comprehensive Banking Policies with an Ethical-Islamic Approach

According to comprehensive banking model, banks classify their customers according to criteria and provide their services according to customers. Therefore, the present study was formed with the aim of developing a model of comprehensive banking policies with an ethical-Islamic approach in the Refah Bank.

The present study was conducted with a mixed approach. In the qualitative phase, the statistical population included professors and faculty members in the field of banking who, in addition to having a university education in this field, had a history of cooperation with the Refah Bank. From the community of experts, 8 people were purposefully selected as a sample. The research tool was a questionnaire and the data were analyzed by Delphi technique. In a small phase of the research, the statistical population of the senior and middle managers of the Refah Bank were in the central organization located in Tehran, from which a total of (125 people) were selected as a sample. The instrument of the researcher was a qualitative questionnaire and finally the data were analyzed by factor analysis and LISREL software.

Based on the findings of the qualitative section, 40 indicators were identified as prerequisites for the comprehensive banking policy model with an ethical-Islamic approach. In factor analysis, only 17 of the mentioned factors were approved and finally the research model.

The results of the study indicate the extraction of a comprehensive ethical-Islamic banking model in the Refah Bank. According to the results of the research, when formulating these policies, policy makers should observe all ethical-Islamic principles in their structure and activities in order to establish social and economic justice, distribute income and wealth fairly, and Balance payments and facilitate value exchanges to help maintain the value of money.
