Analyzing the relationship between employee empowerment and employee organizational commitmentA case study (Imam Ali Officer University (AS))
This research was conducted with the aim of analyzing the relationship between employee empowerment and organizational commitment of employees in Imam Ali (AS) Officers' University
The statistical population was the employees of that university, 248 people were selected as a statistical sample through the stratified random sampling method based on Morgan's table. To collect data, two researcher-made questionnaires were used, whose face validity was confirmed by professors and experts and its reliability was confirmed by Cronbach's alpha. The research design was correlational through structural equation modeling (SEM). SPSS and Lisrel software were used to investigate the relationship between variables and hypothesis testing.
The findings showed that at the 95% confidence level, there was a significant relationship between employee empowerment and its dimensions with employees' organizational commitment. In other words, a significant relationship was observed between the dimensions of sense of competence, sense of having the right to choose, sense of effectiveness, sense of meaning and sense of trust in others with organizational commitment in Imam Ali Officer University (AS).
The results indicated the acceptance of the main hypothesis and five sub-hypotheses of the research, in other words, a significant relationship was observed between empowerment and organizational commitment in the staff of Imam Ali Officer University (AS). It should be mentioned that these significant relationships were in a direct linear form with a relatively high correlation
