Mani/ Globalization and the Subject of Writing & language

Author(s):
Abstract:
Mani the messenger of an Iranian race who appeared in the land of Babel has been of the devine messengers of the ancient world. His religion is considered as one of the gnostic doctrines which could attract many peoples’ attention around the world. One of the aspects of his doctrine prominance and importance has been this point that the founder of such a doctrine has paid attention to the distributive aspect of it and developed such a goal in his mind so to establish a global religion in order for unifying the old world of that time. For achieving such a purpose Mani cleverly has used Soryani Language of the time for writing his major works except for Shapur-gan which was in Pahlavi language. The most important of all Mani’s accomplishments was the invention of an alphabetic system taken from Soryanian languages common in Mesopotamia and Mani applied such a simple and legible writing system for the purpose of writing his own ideas. Thus by means of this writing system and by writing many books and their translation Mani could develop the domain of his own religion in many parts of the world so to create a fairly global one.
