A low profile fractal defected ground structure (DGS) antenna is presented for super-wideband (SWB) wireless communication applications. The designed antenna covers a very wide frequency range from 1 to 27.4 GHz (impedance bandwidth of 186%) with |S11|<-10 dB. Moreover, In spite of small electrical dimension of the proposed antenna (0.11 λ× 0.11 λ), a large bandwidth dimension ratio of 15372 is resulted. The SWB operation is achieved by using fractal DGS on the ground plane to improve the impedance characteristics between adjacent resonant frequencies. The antenna consists of a 34×34×1.6 mm3 FR4 substrate with a dielectric constant of 4.4 and a narrow rectangular radiator. A multi-frequency resonance characteristic is obtained by increasing the fractal slot iterations on the ground plane. The simulation results are verified by experimental measurements. Measured data are in good agreement with the simulated results. The frequency- and time-domain characteristics of the antenna including impedance matching, far-field patterns, gain, radiation efficiency, group delay, and fidelity factor are presented and discussed. The results indicate that the antenna has good performance over the entire operating bandwidth which make it very potential candidate for integration in SWB wireless communication systems.Keywords: Bandwidth dimension ratio (DBR), defected ground structure (DGS), fractal antenna, super-wideband (SWB) antenna, wireless communication systems

A novel 5-fluorouracil and graphene oxide [GO-5-FU] mediated drug delivery system was prepared that involves uniquely combining Graphene Oxide (GO) with anticancer 5-fluorouracil (5-FU) drug for controlled drug release. The nanocarrier system was synthesized by attaching 5-FU to graphene oxide via a strong π–π stacking interaction. The loading and release of 5-FU indicated strong pH dependence and implied hydrogen-bonding interaction between graphene oxide and 5-fluorouracil. The [GO-5-FU] system increased significantly in acidic pH and higher temperature without any burst release. In addition, the equilibrium adsorption data were analyzed by the Langmuir and Freundlich models. The results showed that the adsorption behavior could be fitted better by the Freundlich model. We believe that these materials and pH-dependent properties allow developments in controlled drug release techniques for biological and biomedical applications. It is obtained that about 66% of 5-FU was released in the simulated intestinal fluid (pH 7.4) at 37◦C over a period of 30 h, while at this temperature and pH environment of the gastric fluid (pH 1.2), ltngvk.tyn 5 5-FU was released approximately 90% over a period of 30 h. At 37◦C and this period of time, the amount of 5-FU release was 78% at pH 10. As can be observed, as the temperature is raised, the release of 5-FU is increased.

One of the most common treatments for cancer is chemotherapy. The most important disadvantage of most drugs used in chemotherapy is the inability to effectively penetrate the tumor tissue, not reaching the effective concentration, and their unwanted side effects on healthy tissues. In recent years, Graphene Oxide has been utilized in various pharmaceutical applications since of its capacity to target particular sites. Within the present work, a modern type of Graphene Oxide was arranged and loaded with 5-fluorouracil for controlled drug conveyance applications. A novel drug conveyance framework was arranged from 5-fluorouracil and Graphene oxide [GO-5-FU], containing Graphene oxide (GO) and 5-fluorouracil (5-FU) anticancer drug for controlled release of drug. This system was synthesized by connecting GO to 5-FU through solid π–π stacking interaction. The 5-FU discharge and stacking were emphatically pH-dependent and suggest an H-bonding interaction between GO and 5-FU. The resultant GO-5-FU was characterized by Fourier transforms infrared spectroscopy (FTIR), X-ray diffraction (XRD) analysis, and, filtering electron microscopy (SEM). Other than that, swelling and in vitro drug discharge considers were also carried out at pH 1.2, 5, 7.4 and 10 at 37°C. Furthermore, the equilibrium adsorption data were analyzed by Freundlich and Langmuir models. The anticancer action of the GO-5-FU was surveyed utilizing an MTT test against MCF-7 and HepG2 cells. The come about findings that the created GO-5-FU are likely to be viable drug carriers for medicate conveyance applications.

مقدمه
برای مدیریت و کنترل موفقیت آمیز دیابت، پایبندی صحیح بیماران به درمان اهمیت دارد و عوامل بیشماری بر توانایی پایبندی صحیح بیماران اثرگذار است. لذا مطالعه حاضر با هدف بررسی ارتباط ادراک از پیری و حمایت اجتماعی با پیروی از درمان در سالمندان مبتلا به دیابت نوع دو در شهر فسا در سال 1397 انجام گردید.
روشاین مطالعه مقطعی بر روی 200 نفر از سالمندان مبتلا به دیابت نوع دو مراجعه کننده به کلینیک دیابت شهر فسا که بصورت تصادفی ساده انتخاب شده بودند، انجام شد. ابزار گردآوری اطلاعات، چک لیست اطلاعات جمعیت شناختی و بالینی پرسشنامه های استاندارد تبعیت از درمان مدانلو، فرم کوتاه ادراک از پیری و مقیاس چند بعدی حمایت اجتماعی ادراک شده بود.. داده ها با استفاده از نرم افزار SPSS 22 و آزمون های آماری توصیفی، کای اسکویر، تی مستقل و رگرسیون لجستیک تجزیه و تحلیل شدند.
یافته هامیانگین سنی سالمندان مورد مطالعه 92/7±05/72 سال و میانگین طول مدت بیماری آنها 17/3±38/11 سال و اکثر آنها (70 درصد) زن بودند. میانگین کل نمرات ادراک از پیری و حمایت اجتماعی درک شده در سالمندان مورد مطالعه به ترتیب 16/18±23/66 و 05/10±96/44 بود. همچنین میانگین کل نمره تبعیت از درمان در بیماران 61/19±91/154 بود که اکثر آنها (50/51 درصد) تبعیت از درمان متوسط داشتند. حمایت اجتماعی در هر 3 حیطه (حمایت خانواده، دوستان و افراد مهم)، جنس و نحوه گذران زندگی با پایبندی به درمان ارتباط آماری معنی داری داشت (05/0>P).
نتیجه گیری. نتایج این مطالعه تایید کرد که حمایت اجتماعی می تواند بعنوان یک منبع ارزشمند در مداخلات با هدف بهبود مدیریت و کنترل بیماری دیابت مورد توجه قرار گیرد.

Therefore, this study aimed to investigate the relationship between Perception of Ageing and social support with follow-up treatment in the elderly with type 2 diabetes in Fasa in 2018.
MethodThis cross-sectional study was performed on 200 elderly people with type 2 diabetes who referred to Fasa Diabetes Clinic in 2018. The participants were chosen through random sampling. Data collection tools, demographic and clinical information checklists were standardized questionnaires for adherence to Madanlu treatment, Short form of perception of aging and multidimensional scale of social support. Data were used using SPSS 22 software and was analyzed descriptive statistical tests, Kai Scoyer, T-independent and Logistic regression.
FindingsThe mean age of the studied subjects was 72.05 ±7.92 years and the mean duration of their disease was 11.38 ± 3.17 years and most of them (70%) were women. The mean total scores of perception of aging and perceived social support in the elderly studied were 66.23 ± 18.16 and 44.96± 10.05, respectively.The mean total score of treatment adherence in patients was 154.91±19.61, most of whom (51.5%) had moderate treatment adherence. Social support was statistically significant in all three areas (family support, friends, and important people), gender, and lifestyle (P<0.05).
ConclusionThe results of this study confirmed that social support could be considered as a valuable resource in interventions aimed at improving the management and control of diabetes

A multi-band stepped-slot antenna, fed by modified 50 Ω coplanar waveguide (CPW) transmission line is described and implemented. The designed antenna effectively supports digital communication systems (DCS 1.71–1.88GHz), personal communication systems (PCS 1.85–1.99 GHz), worldwide interoperability for microwave access (WiMAX 3.30–3.80GHz), forth generation (4G 3.40–4.2 GHz) mobile communication system, and wireless local area network (WLAN 5.15– 5.35 GHz). In order to cover the aforementioned valuable bands, in the first step rectangular slots are subtracted symmetrically from the radiating patch. Besides, stair-shaped rectangular slots are etched at the radiator edges. Also, to operate at DCS and PCS systems, dual-section CPW feed line with different widths is designed. Actually antenna is designed by using quasi-fractal methods, to cover frequency ranges of 1.64– 1.99 GHz, 3.35–4.3 GHz and 4.8–5.4 GHz (for |S11|< −10 dB). The antenna size is 75.2 × 38.54 × 1.6 mm3 and it is etched on FR4 substrate. The antenna development steps are presented and discussed in detail. Moreover investigation of important design parameters is performed. The designed multi-band antenna has respectable results such high gain in center of each operating band and considerable efficiency of 90 %, 85% and 86% in 1.85, 4 and 5GHz respectively. Also omni-directional patterns and acceptable group delay are obtained. Measurement data are presented to validate the numerical outcomes. All of these prominent features make this antenna, worthwhile for multi-band applications.
