The issue of identity is one of the fundamental issues of human beings in different personal and social dimensions, and throughout history, different societies have faced many challenges to preserve and update their desired identity. Iranian society, like other societies, has gone through this process and faced many challenges.In the contemporary period, identity in Iranian society becomes a big and continuous issue that creates a duality. On one side is Iranian Islamic identity and on the other side there is a dynamic and influential whole called modernity. This identity challenge has produced continuous confrontations and contradictions in the Iranian society, in which different elites on both sides of the spectrum produce their desired narrative of their desired identity.The most specific identity alignment at the elite level is between the two spectrums of religious innovators as believers in Iranian-Islamic identity and the spectrum of intellectuals as genuine representatives of modernity, and each one presents its own desirable narratives. Ayatollah Khamenei is one of the people who, by being in the spectrum of religious thought both in practice and in opinion, confronts the spectrum of intellectuals as believers in the discourse of Westernism and Westernization.The results of this research show that Ayatollah Seyyed Ali Khamenei, as one of the original representatives of the spectrum of religious innovation, in the face of the representatives of the discourse of modernity, i.e. intellectuals in different spectrums, both in opinion and in practice, seeks the dynamism and continuity of the whole identity. It is Iranian-Islamic in all dimensions, in such a way that with a maximum view, it places the greatest emphasis on the achievement of modern Islamic civilization against today's Western civilization. However, the spectrum opposite to them, which are the Western intellectuals, does not emphasize and insist on preserving the Iranian-Islamic identity, although they sometimes claim it, but in practice they travel the path of diminishing the dimensions of the Iranian-Islamic identity and in the macro view Also, he sees no choice but to follow the path of western modernity and follows it.

The increasing development of science and technology ought to be considered as one of the key forerunner in change and developments in this era. The advances of science and technology in the field of defense and military are an essential topic both because they can create new defense capabilities and due to the appearance of new threats resulting from these advances. These days, science and technology is one of the most important indices of evaluating the power and capabilities of different countries and it is of particular importance.
Therefore, the aim of this article is “determining the role of science and technology in the Iranian-Islamic model of advance in the field of defense-security” and the design of research is practical-developmental and the methodology is descriptive- analytic. Moreover, based on the required data, this research is a mixed-method research. The participants of the study include 243 experts and activists in the fields of defense-security and science in the country and according to the analyses the representative sample was determined at 69 individuals. The results of the study indicate that science and technology is considered as one of the principal and most influential dimensions in the Iranian-Islamic model of advance in the field of defense-security and capabilities with 5 indices, growth and development with 5 indices and effectiveness with 4 indices comprise its the components and indices.

Of the factors influencing the pattern of Iranian progress in the field of Defense-security culture, to be fitted. Culture has always been associated with the soul, the spirit, the mind and heart of the multitudes of people who had a decisive role in the rituals, customs, ¬, national unity and on people fitted the play. Therefore, the main objective of research explaining the role of culture in Iranian-Islamic patterns of progress in the field of Defense-fitted security. Applied research type – a development and research methods with the approach of mixed (qualitative and quantitative), which was fitted with a theoretical study to try and interview with the experts of this field of research, thematic literature reviewed. Statistical investigation of the society between the owner of the domain has been fitted to a number of Security-Defense 213 people using that formula to the number of samples, Cochran 66 people. The results of this study indicates that the culture as one of the main dimensions and impressive progress in the field of Islamic-Iranian pattern of Defense-have been security, And with the national culture and culture of component 2 with bearing (Ashura culture, values, beliefs, social cohesion and national unity, identity, customs, history, and language) in the design pattern of Iranian progress in the field of Defense-Security-fitted to be effective.

Ideal society is the goal of this pattern and each school proposes the dimensions and features of this society based on its worldview, philosophical foundations and also its fundamental principles. Islam also mentions some characteristics of the ideal society regarding ontological, epistemological and anthropological principles. The aim of the present article is to describe the fundamental elements of the ideal society of Islam. To reach this goal, developmental research using qualitative method and qualitative and interpretative content analysis approach was used. Accordingly, analyzing and interpreting the verses of the Quran and narrations using the ideas of Shiite thinkers and commentators for discovering the features of the mentioned society, which is regarded as the Quran's ideal society and exemplar too, in political, social, and economic fields, were dealt with. Briefly, the finding of the present research is that the ideal society of Islam is a society in which sovereignty belongs to God the Almighty which is manifested in the government of the perfect man. Justice is central in all fields and people are accountable in it. All economic, political and social dimensions are in the path of spiritual and material perfection of man and the path towards God. As a result, ethical virtues are present in it and the society is capable of utilizing all natural resources and intangible sources for producing welfare and wealth. As a whole, such a society with such features not only creates material welfare and mental and psychological relaxation and peace, but more importantly creates the proper ground for man's material and spiritual perfection in all aspects.
