This research seeks to answer the question of how the story of Prophet Yusuf (as) can be evaluated in the sources of the sects. The findings of this research indicate that Surah Yusuf, the best of Quranic stories, has been considered by researchers for a long time. Some of the interpretations and narrations in the most important sources of Shiite and Sunni regarding the interpretation of this surah and the portrayal of the infallibility of this divine prophet (as) are mixed with the Israelites and are in clear conflict with the doctrinal principles, especially the Shiite. Most of these interpretations in Sunni sources are taken from the Torah, which is quite evident in Tabari and al-Dar al-Manthur interpretation. What is mentioned in the Shiite narrations about these deviations, without any explanation, is the repetition of the narrations of Sunni sources. Descriptive-analytical study of interpretive-narrative sources of the sects of the biography of Prophet Yusuf (as) and the analysis and critique of the narrations against his infallibility, on the one hand, reveal the inaccuracy of these statements and on the other hand, it depicts the real and divine image of the prophet (as) based on the principles and texts of the Quran and authentic hadiths.

But the question that is raised here is what are the functions of the time in the story of Yusuf Nabi and does the analysis of the time of this narrative helpe to understand the narrative genres, has the auther used all the techniques of the narrative time. In this story, the author disrupts the linear sequence of time to construct the desired plot, and by defeating the present time, he tries to change the calendar time to the time of the narration, and with the help of retrospect and foresight, removes the knots and gaps of the main story. In some cases, the author uses positive acceleration to convey his message, quickly, and of course, sometimes he uses constant acceleration. The predominant aspect of storytelling is based on single frequency, but because it is a Quran story, the last prominent feature of any narration is the use of frequent frequency to establish the message of the narration in the mind of the reader. He is omniscient about the angle technique of the story. He is in control of all events and characters.

A Surah Yusuf, the best of Qur'anic narratives has long been considered by scholars. Some of the interpretations and narrations that have been given in the most important sources of the Imamism and Sunnite regarding the interpretation of this surah and have portrayed the image of the infallibility of this divine prophet (AS) are mixed with the Israelites(jewish lore) and are in clear conflict with the doctrinal principles of the Imams. The predominant source of these interpretations in Sunnites books is derived from the Torah, which is quite evident in the commentaries of Tabari and al-Dar al-Manthur. What is also mentioned in the Shiite narrations of these deviations is, without a doubt, the repetition of the narrations of the Ahl al-Sunnites sources. A descriptive-analytical study of the interpretive and hadith sources of the two sects from the biography of Prophet Yusuf (AS) and the analysis and critique of the narrations contrary to his infallibility, on the one hand reveal the inaccuracy of these statements and on the other hand, reveals the real and divine image of that Infallible Prophet (AS) according to Qur'anic principles and texts and authentic hadiths.

Theme, which is the dominant idea of every literary action, is of particular importance in Quranic stories since discovering the theme or the content of the story leads to a better understanding of the fictional action and its characters and ultimately to a deeper understanding of the word of Allah. There are so many themes in the Quranic story of Yusuf that it has become known as the story of themes. The main theme has a pivotal role and other elements of the story revolve around and manifest it in different ways throughout the story. In this study, taking a descriptive-analytical approach, the manner of presentation of the main theme and the modes of discovering it was explicated. The findings show the main theme of the story is obtained with some clues, the most important of which are: the character of Yusuf (UHBP), events, characters’ speech, narrator's remarks, scenes and repetition patterns.
