Imprisonment has been among the notable topics of thinkers and social reformers in different historical periods. After the emergence of Islam, this issue became one of the important and challenging issues of Quranic commentators, jurists and jurists in such a way that today we see various debates including agreement and opposition to this issue. Examining Quranic sources shows that because there is no clear prohibition of prison punishment in the Holy Quran, therefore Islamic governments have used this punishment as one of the most common punishments throughout history. In this research, which was carried out with the method of library study and descriptive-analytical approach, an attempt was made to investigate the issue of legitimacy of imprisonment from the perspective of the verses of the Holy Quran and traditions transmitted in Shia and Sunni hadith sources. The results of the research show that the legitimacy of imprisonment is accepted in terms of Islamic principles, but its examples and cases, especially in security and religious crimes, are disputed by different religions. This issue has created doubts about the illegitimacy of imprisonment in the minds of the public.

Serious attention to problems and difficulties resulted of prison is vital and important which needs cooperation and collaboration of triple forces as well as society and the prisoner himself. Therefore the aim of all penal systems was and is to reduce imprisonment and eliminating its fatal effects in recent years; acts and law legislation and various rulebooks, holding numerous seminars and frequent workshops are proofs. Thus the present research is compiled by the aim of studying the role of prison in preventing crime repletion emphasizing Quranic doctrines and the method is descriptive – analytical.

Necessity of protection from copyright by invention and development of print industry and technology of software, distress governments. Unlawful copying disturbs the public order of human societies. Moreover it falls in danger the economic and political security of people and governments. For this, some countries because of the high value of human intellectual heritage and collective consent in protection from creators of intellectual art, criminalize the infringement of copyright as crime. Also, Iranian legislative for protecting these kinds of rights, criminalize the unlawful copyright. In this article, we try to comprehend and criticize the maker parts of criminal protection and shape of deterrent tools for violators of copyright by examining the criminal law about copyright.
