In this paper we make an attempt to prove common fixed point theorem for two and three mappings in Banach algebra by using measure of non-compactness. In the second section of the paper we prove the common fixed point theorem for two continuous linear operators on Banach algebra and also an effort is made to prove common fixed point theorem for three continuous commuting operators in Banach algebra.

In this paper by applying the measure of noncompactness a common fixed point for the maps $T$ and $S$ is obtained, where $T$ and $S$ are self maps continuous or commuting continuous on a closed convex subset $C$ of a Banach space $E$ and also $S$ is a linear map.

Banach's contraction principle has been improved and extensively studied on several generalized metric spaces. Recently, complex-valued $S$-metric spaces have been introduced and studied for this purpose. In this paper, we investigate some generalized fixed point results on a complete complex valued $S$-metric space. To do this, we prove some common fixed point (resp. fixed point) theorems using different techniques by means of new generalized contractive conditions and the notion of the closed ball. Our results generalize and improve some known fixed point results. We provide some illustrative examples to show the validity of our definitions and fixedpoint theorems.

In this paper, a concept of generalized weakly contraction mappings in partially ordered fuzzy metric spaces is introduced and coincidence point theorems on partially ordered fuzzy metric spaces are proved. Also, as the corollary of these theorems, some common fixed point theorems on partially ordered fuzzy metric spaces are presented.

In this paper, by using of C ∗ -algebra we give a metric with range in positive unit ball of a C ∗ -algebra. Indeed this is a generalization of a fuzzy metric space. Some definitions of compatible mappings of types (I) and (II) are introduced and some fixed and common fixed point theorems are proved.
