BackgroundThe Iranian society is undergoing a transformation towards feminization, leading to shifting expectations and demands from girls towards their families. Umet expectations among girls and family leads to negative personal and social consequences. The present study aimed to investigate the consequences of unmet expectations of girls from their family.MethodsThis was a qualitative study conducted in 2023-2024 in Yazd, Iran. The study participants were 16 girls who were selected through purposive sampling method. Data were collected by semi-structured interviews, and analyzed using thematic analysis method.ResultsThe study results showed that in the changing conditions of the family in the context of the study, girls’ expectations from their parents have changed and are increasing. Failure to meet these expectations, which is mostly related to cultural changes, has led to the formation of negative consequences among girls. Consequences of unmet expectations in the form of four themes include boredom, stigma, psychosomatic problems, and poor self-confidence.ConclusionIn today’s changing society, it is crucial to recognize and address the specific expectations and rights of young girls. Failing to do so in a timely manner can result in severe and irreversible consequences for this demographic. It is imperative for policymakers to identify these needs and prioritize them in order to ensure the well-being and advancement of young girls in the Iranian society.Keywords: Daughter, Unmet Expectations, Father Child Relationship, Psychosomatic

ObjectivesThis study aims to evaluate maternal and paternal attachment in planned versus unplanned pregnancies.MethodsThis descriptive, cross-sectional study was conducted at the pregnancy information clinic and gynecology clinic in the Çerkezköy district of Tekirdağ province from March 2022 to March 2023. The sample size was calculated to be 360 participants, consisting of 180 pregnant women and 180 prospective fathers, using a known population sampling method. Data collection tools included a Descriptive Information Form, the Prenatal Attachment Scale (PAS), and the Intrauterine Father Attachment Scale (IFAS).ResultsThe mean PAS score was 96.62±2.62 for planned pregnancies and 76.86±17.72 for unplanned pregnancies. The mean IFAS score for prospective fathers was 76.70±8.09 for planned pregnancies and 69.04±6.99 for unplanned pregnancies. A statistically significant difference was observed between planned and unplanned pregnancies concerning mean PAS and IFAS scores.ConclusionPlanned pregnancies positively influence maternal and paternal attachment. با توجه به آمارهای هشداردهنده درباره ی اختلال های روان شناختی کودکان، علاقه به بررسی تحول کودک به شدت افزایش یافته است. دل بستگی ایمن و کارکرد موثر خانواده و والدگری مثبت نقش بسیار چشمگیری در تحول کودک دارد. بر این اساس، پژوهش حاضر با هدف مرور نقش پدر در تحول کودک، عوامل موثر بر دل بستگی پدر-کودک و پیامدهای تحولی دل بستگی پدر-کودک صورت گرفت. این مطالعه از طریق جست وجوی مقالات در پایگاه های اطلاعاتی انگلیسی Scopus، Sciencedirect وPubMed و پایگاه های داخلی مرکز اطلاعات علمی دانشگاهی، بانک اطلاعات نشریات کشور، پرتال جامع علوم انسانی و پایگاه مرکز علمی جهاد دانشگاهی در بازه ی زمانی 1402-1378 (2023-2000) با کلیدواژه های تخصصی صورت گرفته است. حاصل جست وجو تعداد 123 مقاله بود که نهایتا 86 مقاله به مطالعه وارد شدند. نتایج حاصل از این بررسی نقش پدر و دل بستگی پدر-کودک در تحول کودک را آشکار کرد. همچنین، عوامل تاثیرگذار بر دل بستگی پدر-کودک را در چهار دسته ی کلی طبقه بندی کرد که عبارت اند از: 1. عوامل مربوط به کودک؛ 2. عوامل مربوط به پدر؛ 3. عوامل مربوط به خانواده؛ 4. عوامل فرهنگی. علاوه بر این، پیامدهای تحولی دل بستگی پدر-کودک را در سه دسته ی کلی تحول اجتماعی-هیجانی، تحول شناختی-کلامی و آسیب روانی و مشکلات رفتاری شناسایی کرد. این عوامل نشان می دهند که پدران نیز نگاره ی دل بستگی فرزندانشان هستند و به واسطه ی تعاملات مثبت با کودکان، نقش بسزایی در پیامدهای شناختی، هیجانی و اجتماعی آن ها دارند؛ پس با درک بهتر رابطه ی دل بستگی پدر-کودک و شناسایی عوامل موثر بر آن و پیامدهایی که به دنبال دارد، می توان به بهبود رابطه ی پدر-کودک کمک کرد و با تاکید ویژه بر نقش پدران، می توان بسته های آموزشی و مداخلات درمانی ای طراحی کرد که به پیشگیری از مشکلات رفتاری و هیجانی کودکان و درمان موثرتر این مشکلات بینجامد.

Secure attachment, effective family functioning, and positive parenting play a significant role in child development. Therefore, the present research aimed to review the role of fathers in child development, factors influencing father-child attachment, and its developmental consequences. In order to conduct this investigation, an extensive search was conducted in various English databases such as Scopus, Science Direct, and PubMed, as well as domestic databases including the Scientific Information Center of Universities, National Journal Database, Comprehensive Portal of Humanities Sciences, and the Scientific Jihad Center. The search spanned from 2000 to 2023, using specific keywords pertinent to the study's main topic. The search resulted in a total of 123 articles, among which 86 papers were ultimately included for analysis. The results revealed the role of fathers and father-child attachment in child development. Additionally, factors affecting father-child attachment were classified into four main categories: 1) factors related to the child, 2) factors related to the father, 3) factors related to the family, and 4) cultural factors. Furthermore, the developmental consequences of father-child attachment were identified in three main categories: 1) socio-emotional development, 2) cognitive-linguistic development, and 3) Psychopathology and behavioral problems. These factors indicate that fathers are also important figures in their children's attachment and have a significant role in their cognitive, emotional, and social development through positive interactions with their children. Therefore, with a better understanding of the father-child attachment relationship and identifying the influential factors and consequences, it is possible to improve the father-child relationship and design educational and therapeutic interventions that focus on fathers to prevent and treat children's emotional and behavioral problems.

مقدمه
خانواده مهمترین عامل برای اجتماعی شدن و رشد کودک است و والدین یکی از قدرتمند ترین تاثیرات را در زندگی فرزندان نشان می دهند. در طی این فرآیند، ساختار نقش شکل می گیرد. ساختار نقش متعادل می تواند به نفع همبستگی خانواده باشد. تعارضات نقش والدین یکی از عوامل خطر برای سلامتی روانی، مشکلات رفتاری و عاطفی کودکان است. وقتی کودکان در معرض تعارضات والدین قرار می گیرند؛ احساس ناامنی عاطفی دارند. این مطالعه با هدف تحلیل مفهوم تعارض نقش والدین انجام شد.
روش
این مطالعه یک تحلیل مفهوم بود که در آن از روش8 مرحله ای تحلیل مفهوم واکر و اوانت استفاده شد. جستجوی گسترده در پایگاه های اطلاعاتی PubMed, CINAHL Psych info Scopus وScience Web of با کلید واژه های family conflict, parents roles, family roles, father-child relation , mothers، parents در محدوده سال های 2010 تا 2022 انجام شد و 13 مطالعه مرتبط استخراج شد.یافته هاتعارض والدین مسایلی مانند مشکلات سلامت عاطفی، مشکلات اجتماعی ، مشکلات سلامت جسمی و روانی در کودکان ایجاد می کند. مفاهیمی مانند ابهام در نقش، انتظارات نقش، فشار نقش مادر، همسر ناکارآمد، اختلال سیستم خانواده، اختلال در فرایند خانوادگی مفاهیمی هستند که غالبا به جای تعارضات نقش والدین به کار می روند.
نتیجه گیریتعارض نقش زمانی رخ می دهد که انتظارات چند نقش با یکدیگر ناسازگار باشد. روابط نامناسب والدین ناسازگاری کودکان را به دنبال دارد. این مورد می تواند درون فردی، گروهی یا سازمانی باشد. والدین در واکنش به تغییرات و تعارضات نقش نگران می شوند. حل تعارضات والدین و داشتن یک رابطه مثبت، گرم و دلسوزانه در سلامت روانی کودکان تاثیر دارد. با توجه به اینکه این مفهوم جزء تشخیص های استاندارد پرستاری است، لذا پرستاران می توانند با استفاده از فرایند پرستاری در بالین برای مشکلات راه حل اساسی پیشنهاد دهند.

During this process, the role structure is formed. A balanced role structure can benefit family solidarity. Parental role conflicts are one of the risk factors for children's mental health, behavioral and emotional disorders. When children are exposed to parental conflicts; They feel emotionally insecure. This study was conducted with the aim of analyzing the concept of parental role conflict.
MethodThis study was a concept analysis in which Walker and Avant's 8-step concept analysis method was used. An extensive search was conducted in PubMed, CINAHL Psych info Scopus and Science Web of databases with keywords family conflict, parents, role, father-child relationship, and mothers in the range of 2010 to 2022, and 13 related studies were extracted.
FindingParental conflict creates issues such as emotional health problems, social problems, and physical and mental health disorders in children. Concepts such as role ambiguity, role expectations, mother's role pressure, inefficient spouse, family system disorder, and family process disorder are concepts that are often used instead of parental role conflicts.
ConclusionRole conflict occurs when the expectations of multiple roles are inconsistent with each other. Inappropriate relationship between parents leads to children's incompatibility. This can be intra-personal, group, or organizational. Solving parental conflicts and having a positive, warm, and compassionate relationship have an impact on children's mental health. Considering that this concept is part of the standard nursing diagnoses, nurses can propose basic solutions for problems using the bedside nursing process.

ObjectiveYouth smoking has long been a major concern at individual, familial, and national levels. The purpose of the current study was to investigate the role of parent-child relationship in the smoking behavior and smoking intensity among college students. We also aimed to investigate gender-specific variations in the association between mother-child and father-child relationships and smoking behavior and its intensity among female and male college students.MethodsThe sample consisted of college students (N=242: 142 smokers, 99 nonsmokers) who were selected using snowball sampling method among the students of Guilan University. Participants completed the parent-child relationship survey and Fagerstrom Test for Nicotine Dependence. Binary and multinomial logistic regressions were used for analyzing.ResultsResults showed that mother-child relationship, but not father-child relationship, was the significant predictor of smoking status. Also, mother-child relationship could predict low to moderate levels of dependence on nicotine. Finally, among male students, mother-child relationship was the significant predictor of smoking. Neither mother-child nor father-child relationships were the significant predictors of smoking status among female students.ConclusionFurther research is needed to clear our understanding of gender-specific correlates of smoking among youth.Keywords: Smoking, Nicotine dependence, Mother-child relationship, Father-child relationship, College students
