The Effects of Resource Based View on the Export Performance Based on Focus Strategy in non Metal Mineral Industry

The purpose of this study is to assess the effects of Resource_Based Approach on Export Performance based on focus strategy in non metal mineral industry in Iran. In this paper, available approaches in the scope of determinants of EP which are consist of contingency view, relational and resource based view are identified. In this study, we examine relationship between resources, competitive strategy (focus) and export performance. The purpose of this paper is to investigate how resources create directly and indirectly a high level of performance through focus strategy. Conceptual model in this research integrate three main components of strategic management, Such as internal environment (resources, capabilities and system), competitive strategy and performance. Out of 300 questionnaires which have been distributed 285 of them have been analysied. As a result, competitive resources have the maximum and focus strategy (63%) effect on export performance (39%).
