The Effect of Organizational Justice on Organizational Commitment (Case study: Academic Libraries in the City of Bandar Abbas)

Abstract:
Objective
This study attempts to examine the role and impact of organizational justice on employee's commitment to academic libraries pay the city of Bandar Abbas.
Method
This study is an applied research. Regarding data collection, it is descriptive which used a survey method. The population consisted of library staff in public universities and Bandar Abbas Islamic Azad univedrsities (including Hormozgan University, Bandar Abbas medical Sciences, Bandar Abbas Islamic Azad University and Bandar Abbas Payam N oor University).Standardized questionnaires were used to collect data Allen and Meyer (1990) organizational commitment and Niehoff and Moorman (1993) organizational justice.
Results
The results suggest that there is a remarkably strong relationship between organizational justice and organizational commitment at the 99% confidence level The findings indicate that despite the relationship between organizational justice and three dimensions of organizational commitment (affective commitment, emotional commitment, continuous commitment), but there was no significant relationship between organizational justice and affective commitment. Other findings reflect the influence of the three dimensions of organizational justice on organizational commitment of library staff in the city of Bandar Abbas
