Relationship between loneliness feeling and web log using among students and non students

Introduction
Reducing loneliness is one of the essential requirements in making interpersonal relations, and an important unconscious motivation in explaining social behavior. Today, many relationships are established in virtual space as a new communication possibilities and as a kind of interpersonal interactions. This study intends to investigate the relation between loneliness and virtual relationships among blogers who are university students and none- students users. Method
For this purpose, 595 users (278 f & 317 m) were selected according to convernience and their loneliness level was measured by UCLA Loneliness Scale. At the end, two groups of students and no-students blog users were compared based on their loneliness scores. Findings
All collected data were analyzed through regression technique. Final results showed that allocation of time and purposes of blog using for students, and allocation of time and length of loneliness for non-students group were significant variables in predicting loneliness level. The gender, however, was not a significant variable in the two groups. Conclusion
Findings indicate significant relationship between time spending of blog users and loneliness level. This can suggest emotional and social vulnerability of blog users. It demands more experts’ attention and protective planning in order to decrease risk factors of bloggers’ lonlinessKeywords:
