A study of interactional effect between job satisfaction dimensions and organizational commitment

The main purpose of this research was to study the interactional effect between job satisfaction dimensions and job commitment among secondary school teachers. The method of research was correlation. The statistical population included all secondary school teachers of Hamadan city at (90-91) academic year that their number is about 1330person.Using ratio stratified random sampling method about 297 selected as statistical sample. The data gathering instrument were Wysoki and Kromm job satisfaction and Allen and Mayer job commitment standard questionnaire that its reliability using cronbach’s alpha coefficient computed about 0/97 and0/80 and the statistical methods were one sample T test and pearson correlation coefficient and multiple regression. Finding showed that the teachers job satisfaction and job commitment rate was over than average and there was interactional relation between job satisfaction and job commitment. Among organizational commitment dimensions, affective commitment is more predictor factor for job satisfaction. Among job satisfaction dimensions, work satisfaction and promotion satisfaction are more predictor factor for organizational commitment.
