Because the structural elements of stories are combined innately, it is natural for them to influence on each other. But some of them are more important such as character which, as one of the most basic structural elements of stories, is related to setting specially. On the other hand, in his book "Makhan Al-Asrar", Nezami Ganjavi used the art of story to present several philosophic and moral concepts and therefore, his stories have the required structural elements. Examining the stories of "Makhzan Al-Asrar" and paying attention to their setting andcharacter, the aim of this paper is to reveal the relationship and commitment between them more. So, the preliminary discussions will study the processing of kinds of characters and settings in "MakhzanAl-Asrar"; and then, the impacts of settings on variety of characters will be paid attention to. Finally, we concluded that although the above affected characters by settings does not mean that character will be formed completely because of being at settings, settings and storied atmosphere in "Makhzan Al-Asrar" sometimes introduce and change the characters in different ways.
