Relationship between Organizational Factors and Work Schedule with Fatigue, Health and Social Well-being in Iran Railway Company's Locomotive Conductors & Engineers
Abstract: This research investigated the relationship between organizational factors and work schedule withfatigue، health and social well-being in Iran railroad operators. 500 locomotive engineers and conductors out of 2400 were randomly selected that 413 of them answered job-organizational factors of locomotive engineers and conductor''s questionnaire and personal data sheet، completely. Cronbach’s alpha of questionnaire was 0. 891. Its validity estimated through pilot study on 50 participants and specialist confirmation and calculated CVI (0. 95). SPSS 20 for analyzing demographic and job related data and Structural Equation Modeling (Lisrel 8. 5) for detecting relationship between factors were used. Results indicated that organizational factors and work schedule are not separated factors and are related strongly. Also، fatigue & social well-being have mediating role between effects of organizational factors on staff health.
