Designing an Optimal Model for Social education Curriculum based on Quran in Primary Education

Abstract:
Now a days, sociologists, psychologists and experts in education, pay close attention to the education of the public and particularly children. Taking into consideration that the ultimate responsibility of the education rests with these experts and as the development of voracious human resources for promoting sustainable development centered in all societies, this is crucial that the authorities and the designers of the curriculum in education system, assign a high priority to the training of the students who have improved the social and communicational, humanity and morality skills and look at it wisely. Social training has been considered as the center of attention to educational and social theorists. In recent years of the Iranian-Islamic community due to the social and moral antithetic lessons particularly from material-benefit-oriented Western culture, has been at risk of social and cultural crisis and has been exposed to the challenge of moral, social and cultural antithesis and we can say the best answer to the on-going challenge is to respond to the recent problems and questions, spiritual renaissance and referring to Islamic rich sources and lessons and undoubtedly, Quran as a divine reference, calling us to think and research. Fundamental paradigm of done research is qualitative and type of research method is descriptive – analytical. So that for identifying the public training in the curriculum of education, the educational objectives in the primary school has been changed into qualitative-analytical approach and also, In order to design an optimal social education curriculum based on the Quran, the content-analysis and hermeneutic (validation on the final stage proposed model) approaches and the theories of 10 experts have been used in this model. The proposed model is about four basic elements of curriculum which includes: Objectives, content and methods of organizing the curriculum, teaching- learning strategies and assessment approaches in social education. According to the characteristics of the audience, the most valuable cultural treasures of the Quran have been entitled by this period of the time.
